Pipe joint compound?

What is the best pipe joint compound for the high pressure side? I've a drip between my unloader and pipe nipple to the mounting block I just can't seem to stop. I don't think anythings cracked. It's been dripping a while. I just tried the black "Gripp" compound and it leaks too. Seems like a while back I had a white compound that was designed for high psi gas that did good but I can't remember the name of it.

Sometimes the fittings are or go bad somehow, I would try a new one. I have had better luck with tape than dope on high pressure but rectorseal with teflon threads is good stuff. Is the pipe brass? Sometimes it wont take enough torque to seal. I have been using 'blu monster' tape - its thicker than regular tape but thinner than the yellow gas tape.

teflon tape.

I have had brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum fittings start leaking but could not ever find a crack anywhere so I changed them out and the leak was gone.

I always use Teflon tape with the high pressure fittings as I never have good luck with pipe dope, 5 or 6 turns of teflon tape on the fittings and no leaks, been doing this for years and always have great results.

I would try a different pipe nipple.

Araldite. Sticks like sh*t to a blanket and makes for an awesome thread sealer. It is a glue and when set is as hard as BUT it can be undone, all be it with little effort, at a later date. extra good on the HP side of you system.
