Pulley Size

Im trying to figure out what size pulleys I need for a machine Im putting together. I have a 31hp Kohler Aegis with a AR pump that spins at 1450 and a winco generator that spins at 3600. I have a 3TB34 Sheave for the engine that is 3.75". I figured for the pump I would need about a 8.75" pulley to spin it at around 1450? Does anyone know if this is right? and for the generator I'd need a 3.55".

I didn't see,,,,,,,, Is there a calculation for a pully with teeth? That changes alot of factors. Just adding one or two teeth in a gear changes everything.

Teeth, no teeth...doesn't matter. Outside diameter is outside diameter.

You're talking sprockets not pulleys

You're right. I'm just used to calculating by teeth for motorcycles. Never crossed my mind that more teeth means bigger sprocket.
