Pump-up sprayers

Ive tired many brands some last a long time others hours in the same models or different ones. You may want to try a 12 volt pump and rinse it our when done I have found them to hold up well. Especially the flojets and shurflo pumps.

Tractor Supply. $10 each. I clear the shelf. Get the one with the plastic wand. First thing I do is remove the spring in the wand and lube it with teflon gel. That should make it last an extra 5 minutes. Employees never rinse them out no matter how much I scream threats. It seems to be the longest 23 seconds of their life. We've gone through roughly 12 so far this season.

I just started buying them also. No sense in buying a high priced one that doesn't last any longer.

I've been using the 30 dollar ones from Home Depot, but they aren't much better than the cheap ones.

I saw a metal sprayer that is supposed to be rated for most anything in an industrial supply store awhile back. It cost around $100. I cant remember any other details about it right off.

Ive been using the cheap round up sprayers from lowes. They have worked the best for me acid, s/h. The pump seal wears out but they have replacement seals for seven bucks right next to them.

Thanks guys, I've gone through a bunch from the hardware stores over the last few years and am fed up replacing them. Started using the Chapin bleach sprayers from lowes and they seem to hold up a bit longer when rinsed after use.

Got air diaphragm and 12v delavan pumps, pros and cons to both when we just need some spot cleaning with expensive or volatile chemicals.

I'll probably stick with throw-aways and rebuilding pump-ups for just now.
