PWNA announcement

Maryland Pressure Washing
Here We Go Again!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Out with the old and in with the new! PWNA is about ready to launch a brand-new web site! The current PWNA web site is a little tired after all these years, and the leadership of the organization strongly feels it’s time for a fresh new image. The Communications Committee has been working on creating this entirely new look for our Association over the last several months, designing it to be a tool to educate your customers about the benefits of hiring a PWNA contractor.

The goal of the new site is to attract your potential customers and to climb in search engine rankings. Over the coming months we hope to see our website become one of the first to appear for many pressure washing searches. Our strongest emphasis for the new site is on “Find A Contractor” and about the education and mentoring available to all PWNA members. The leadership of PWNA believes that positioning our members as an excellent choice for consumers is the best message we can send out.

In it's new format, the web site and this BBS will be tied together on the same server. The current web site and the BBS will disappear overnight tonight, after which everything will re-emerge with the whole new look.

Once the new site is launched, we will have better capacity to incorporate changes quickly. Although the new site will be approximately 10 times the number of pages found on our current site, PWNA’s overall costs of editing and managing the site will decrease.

As a part of this upgrade, we will also introduce a new Member Benefit for low-cost web hosting with the same hosting company we are using.

In all, we told you last spring that we were planning many improvements that would affect our members in a very positive way. We announced the Kohl's jobs for members and the USPS bid within the last month. This new web site is just the latest step illustrating the commitment of the PWNA leadership to helping our members be more successful.

Does the PWNA still do any of this?
