Rebuilding an AR RKV55G40H

I noticed a good bit of water leaking from the bottom of my pump after long standing cavitation issues...So I took the head off and my high pressure seals show some wear and I noticed a few cracks in my ceramic plungers. My questions are...
1. What's the next step in dissassembly? Nothing that's left on here seems to move easily.
2. Should I buy the oil seal kit 1856 while I'm at (planning to get 1857 packing kit and the 2546 piston kit)? Or might that be a waste or should I wait to inspect those seals?

Thanks!

If there's no oil leaking don't worry about it. There is no next step just replace the packings. Then check the o-rings under the valves, after the head is back on. The brass came out of the head which saved you some labor.

I have never owned a pump that didn't have cracked pistons. Ran like that for thousands of hours.

The new kit came and it looks like some of the parts are a little different. The bigger leathery brown seals are identical but instead of the grey plastic cogged ring that goes inside of that, the kit came with black rubbery ring (on the right in the picture). Should I install the old ones back in or the new ones? And if the new ones, which way do they go in? One side is open and the outside diameter of that side is ever so slightly larger.

Reuse the gray ring. The black one goes in the seal retainer.
