Roof Cleaning Largo/Seminole Florida!

Here is a Roof Cleaning we did on a Barrel Tile Roof last Wednesday for a woman who had just bought the house 3 days prior to us Cleaning it. The next doo neighbor confirmed that it hadn't been cleaned in about 10-12yrs. This Roof took 3 heavy applications of Roof Cleaning mix and some spot treating but it finally came Clean. Amazingly enough it will still look even better after a couple of good rain storms.

Great job Larry!

I think that would be in your top 10 for the best before/after pics!

It is just amazing how clean the tiles can come when you have someone with your experience, your knowledge of chemicals and skills in getting the job done correctly.

I bet the lady was just amazed!

That is really impressive Larry!

Nice job on that roof Larry:thumbup2:. It made that house look a whole lot brighter.

Hey Larry,

Excellent Job! I have noticed recently a yard singes all over my area for roof cleaning $99 up to 2500sq ft houses. Am I charging too high for Florida standards or that is a low ball price? I charge $250 for 2500sq ft house and extra $50 if its white roof.

Amazing Larry. You guys get some bad ones down there.

I'd like to see a 2,500 s/f $99 roof wash. How much would the chemicals cost?

My guess it's like the carpet cleaners with the "any 3 rooms for $39.00". After they talk the owner into extra rooms, deoderizer, grout cleaning, Scotch Guard and cleaning a couple of chairs its $199.

Thanks! There is NO WAY any of those guys are gonna be around long at $99.00 I don't ever put my pricing on any of the BB's but I can tell ya Im NO where near $99.00. heck, That barely covers material nevermind your helper and fuel.

$99 is ultra low especially for tile even. There is a guy in my area that'll do 2500 sqft for $80 ... guaranteed no upselling "write the check before we arrive" type deal. I just lost out on a 5.5k sqft tile roof to a guy at just over .07$ sqft. He wont be around long.

Raise your prices, don't lowball the roof cleaning.

Just to clarify, I lost the bid to a guy charging just over .07$ sqft. I was much more than .07$.

Wow! Here I could not even buy the chemicals to do the job for that price.

Florida......You can get the bleach for around $1.00 and up per gallon, here it starts at $2.50 per gallon and up.

I don't see how they are going to do the job for that price. Maybe just with a pressure washer and just burn some gas for the pressure washer?

It makes you wonder if these people are really hurting for money or are they just alcoholics or crackheads wanting a little money for their next "fix"?

If it is not too late, I would tell the homeowner to visit with the neighbor across the street and watch them work and see if they are going to use a pressure washer and "blasting" the roof off the house or are using a good roof mix and if they try to use a pressure washer, have them stopped and tell them to get down the road before damage is done.

Unfortunately the job was done. I'm almost 100% certain that they used a pressure washer.
I'm confused by a lot of the mentality in my area. People could be making much more money on a job but I truly believe that all they care about is just getting by. Like you said ... alcohol ... more than likely on some kind of tax payer assistance, so making a living is irrelevant.
