Rooftop Grease Article

I have met with the author of that article and even considered becoming a distributer of his products (until I did some further research on them). He seems to know what he is talking about, but he is a salesman that would give Chris Gibson a run for his money!

Yes, he wants to have everything including your customer list, so HE could market his product to YOUR customers and he would let you sell them the product. A little strange if you ask me.

Here's a solution. Have your exhaust system cleaned in a timely manner by a good cleaner and this problem in most cases does not exist. I learned this many years ago when I bid on a job that had grease all over the roof, even running out in the down spouts. We spent most of a day cleaning it up, sold them a grease guard so that problem would never exist again. Came back three months later only to find that no grease had made it out of the fan yet and to this day still hasn't. The owner of the store was with me on the roof when we cleaned it, and wasn't real happy thinking I had sold him something he did not need, until I reminded him that he was the one who told me the other company had been doing a good job, they just stopped returning calls. Once I pointed this out he calmed down, and the grease guard has since been removed completely. I now advise customers to let me clean it up and wait a cleaning cycle before buying an expensive grease containment devise. I find that most of the time one of the small catch pans that come with the fan is adequate for the job.

I like the product he is selling - but I have yet to see anyone (here in LA) give me a run for my money.
Most potential clients I contact beg me to take their money. :D

I put the ABC concept to work and just landed two 30 store deals, worth about 40 K, and working on one even larger. I might have to fly out there with The Don and buy you lunch for the motivation.

Uh Matt I know you told us not to screw up again, so this time I drove, well this thing had more power than I'm used to and well, anyway no one was hurt. The good news is we closed the deal on the China Wok franchise nation wide, all 1015 stores, they said they had them cleaned once before, couldn't remember when. They wanted a better price but I held my ground even though Josh wanted to cut them a break We got them for $75 a store, isn't that great, Oh they said something about needing them all done this month. Who's the sales machine now!

Uhhh and we will need another sales truck have a great day
