So he asked me "ahh uuu bbbbb uuuhhhh BOD Member" (Translation; Will You Be A Board Member) well I was tripping, so I said "Everything's So Green!!!" (Translation; Yea Sure Why Not) So when I woke up (On Top Of The Shop) I called Scott and ask him 'Why Me???"
Look Guys, just wanted to get your attention.
Yea, I'm a BOD Member at the UAMCC, and Membership Chairman. As you know there have been changes at the Org. Scott Millen., Mike Tessaro, John Orr, Mike Cooke, Trevor Steel (Is That Not The Coolest Name) and myself are the current Board Of Directors at the UAMCC.
We are doing our best to revive and "Right The Boat" so to speak. Just to let you know, the UAMCC is totally in the hands of the Contractor Members. No part of the UAMCC is owned or controlled by past individual(s)who ran it in the ground, lied in the faces of Contractors, and then threw their hands up when the crap got deep, and hauled Butt.
I know that many here were either betrayed, lied to, or screwed in someway by those people or person. I can only say "That I Was One Of Them Too".
We've got a really good group of Contractors sitting on the Board. Men that are just like you, humping it out there everyday to support their Families. I think most are still behind a wand, I know I am. These are honest Men that have no stake, and nothing to gain by being a UAMCC Board Member. We only want to carry on the only thing that was not a Lie, The vision of supporting our Contractor Members, and helping their businesses grow. To grow our Membership so that we will have an equal and strong voice in our Industry.
Guys, if you ask "So what do I get for $393.00", to be honest, not that much, but better than nothing. I can tell you that Mike Tessaro may have some big News about benefits when we come to Tampa.
I know some of you guys Hate the UAMCC, and some of you have that right. But the trash has been taken out, and its time to build on The Only True By Contractor - For Contractor Org. In Our Industry.
I will only ask you to give us a chance, not by joining but by keeping an eye on us. We Are Really Trying To Make Things Happen!!!!
