No offense but last time I bought a sud sucker it ended up costing me about $60.00 after the $20.00 shipping charges and lasted about a month.

Ditto but i bought it from envirospec, i couldn't pull soap more than 150ft of hose?

Nick, did you size the nozzle to your machine? It is possible that you need to change it to the gpm you are running.

That should not happen on 150 feet of hose, you should be able to draw on very long lengths. It may have been your gun too. Ones with the smaller ball can cause too much back pressure causing a reduced draw rate.

Yes i got a bunch of different orifices  with it. And i know i put in the right one for 8gpm. It worked ok for a few weeks then it was not drawing much after that.

And i always rinse fresh water thru when i am done?

I have bought a dozen or more and love them. Every once in awhile I get one that only lasts a few weeks but most of them work for 2 or 3 months. Wish I hadn't bought as many when they were $50. Guess it's time to stock up again though. Great price. Any way we could get them without the quick connect and siphon hose and save a few more bucks?

Sometimes you need to size down a nozzle if you are not getting the draw like you should, restriction in the gun or nozzle is usually what causes that problem. It is also possible the nozzle backed itself out a little from the vibration of the machine. make sure it is in all the way tight and doesn't have any debris stuck in the cavity in front of the nozzle orifice.

William it is the same price with the hose and couplers-package deal thing the kits are already made up that way. And now is the time o stock up on them the price will be going up in January.

Damn, I run some pretty hot caustic through mine and have yet to make one not work. What do you put through yours?

My SSS worked for a short amount of time, only weeks, then it quit working too. I have since, for many months, been using the same General Hi-Draw that I replaced it with.

I just run housewash but I run one machine spraying soap and one machine just rinsing on my rigs. The sss don't get rinsed out like they should, it's my fault, but I live with the consequences. I have found that the rebuilds don't generally work for whatever reason, so I throw them in a bucket when they quit sucking and rob ends off when I get around to it. The quick connects that come with the sss are opposite of the way I need so those connections just pile up.

Has anyone ever did a test to see what kind of draw rate they get with that injector?

Paul, do you know what kind of draw rate people get? I am not too concerned with the length of hose problem, just wondering what % draw you would get running 8gpm with around 200' or 150' of 3/8" hose.

Thanks.

Not to sure of actual rate but I know it is much better than a standard hi-draw injector which advertises 20%.

I can attest to that. Paul,Do you think an adjustable draw sss will ever be available? Right now I use a partially closed plastic ball valve in the chemical line to meter the draw.Mike Cooke gave me that idea.

I doubt it, I will have to check and see but you may be able to take the adjustable portion form a standard injector and put it on the super suds sucker. I will have to see if the threads are the same.
