This is on a water fountain in front of a gated com. The water pours down the tile and comes form a pond.
You can take the white stuff off with your finger nail. I am looking for a chemical to remove it. I have tried Russ Away didnt work.
I tryed Streak Lighting from Rex didnt work.

Scott, thats calcium deposits (buildup) happens on all pool tile. Look at www.universalminerals.com they sell an attachment hopper and nozzle that hooks up to a pressure washer. And you blast it with a fine media and water. It's not cheap! Another way would be to bead blast it.... You may want to sub it out to someone that does pool tile cleaning...

For some reason I cant open the pic to become bigger. But you are throwing me off if you say you can remove it with your finger nail. If it's calcium it wouldn't be that easy to remove...

You really have to work at with your finger nail. When I brush when wet it was gone, as soon as it dry it came right back.

Thank you great info

Safe -restore or klenstone, spray it on, cover with plastic check on it until its all dissolved, spray clean. It can dull the finish if its left on too long. Its likely to come right back also after its clean.
