Hey we all get mad once in awhile when we bring up stuff for sale on the net. Scott you remember getting peeved at me for cracking on your Ford 6.0L that you were selling that I said that engine bites which is the reason I sold mine??
Hey speaking of that truck whatever happened to it?

Paw in law is still driving it and it's still going strong.I would buy another 6.0L and not give it a second thought and he says the same.

I like I told you then and I'll say it now if you know what the problems are and know the appropeiate fixes you can make a 6.0L just as bullet proof as a 7.3L
 
Yea your right about that but I learned with my 6.0L truck never again. I still have my two 7.3L fords and I just can't afford to buy a potential truck that there may be engine problems and Ford Diesels took a beating with that Engine.. But your right..if you fix the problems that are built into that engine you'd be fine...but I still wouldn't look to buy it off someone because of the problems that engine may have had already.. Cummins diesel is another great engine I had. I miss the gas mileage I got with that one.
 
I had all the problems with all the diesels, I am so happy to be rid of the headaches, I swear by my V10 it will last forever and with the 4:30 gears it is every bit as good as any diesel, maybe better. 7 quarts of Motorcraft oil and a filter all sold at wally world ,Done. I know Russ has gone this route as well after having all the problems. Everything after the 7.3 was a disaster, they fixed the problems with the 6.0 but not until I got rid of mine.
 
IM new to this forum,,,do cajun always speak negative out of his mouth? I only saw cajun twice so far here and both times he speak silly.
