Vibration in hose

Hey everyone. What would cause vibration in the hose with a lose of pressure.

Replaced water seals earlier today with a problem with a leak on the head of the pump.

Could it be the valves. Not sure on haw to check to see if they are bad.

I did notice some scaring on the brass when we replaced the water seals. Not sure if that could be the problem.

Thanks for all the help.

I would think that the scaring in the brass that surrounds the pistons could be it. I know that any scaring on brass anywhere isn't a good thing.

You don't blow the valves, you suck on them. If any air gets through there is a bad seal. Also check the orings that the valves sit in. There is a possibility of an air leak in a feed line. If you can, hook the machine up to a garden hose and see if you have the same results. If you don't and there are no leaks, then it is a feed hose issue.

Yup I also had that problem over the years and it was a feed line issue. Did you check the inline feed filter to see of the screen is clogged?? I also had the problem where the feed line was not tight enough and the pump was sucking in air. i would check all the feed line connections and the line itself... Besides that there are some good experts here who can give you some other reasons and how to correct them.
Good luck

Check what Scott said, it is probably an air leak or some debris in the check valve. When you take them out be sure to check the spring for any debris on them like a string or piece of teflon tape. Also take a screwdriver or somthing and push the tappet up on the check valve and look at the seat. if it is cracked or worn that may be your issue. Put the bottom against your mouth, blow he tappet up and then suck in it should seal tight with very little or no air getting through like Scott said.
