I went to give and estimate to rmove the rust stains from this wall AND then clean it. Gave the owner a price of $350.00, he looked at me w mouth wide open and said, "but I already have estimate of $90.00" and I said, "then what am I doing here?" shook his hand and left.

Sounds like you handled that in the correct manner Doug.

Its too bad Chris didn't get there first, he would have been at $6k and it would have been a slam dunk for you!!

Hey guys, I am glad that you are having some fun at my expense, but as I always say...you all need to raise your prices. Good to know that you had the good sense to walk away. From now on you guys should all call me before you give an estimate and then let me give them a price first and they will never complain about your price!

I just looked at the photo of the building. I would have priced it at about 7 or 8 hundred and sold him on it once I demonstrated that removing the rust in the center of the wall would leave it a different color. Looks like a whole wall acid wash to me.
