Where to buy large quantities of Dawn

Good question Tony. I wouldn't mind getting mine in bulk like that also. I go through a lot. I normally get the big refill size bottles at HD. Seems to be the cheapest way right now.

At Sam's club they have the gallon jug of dawn with the pump sprayer for around $9.00, here is the link: http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=334384

I have not seen larger quantities anywhere but Drago supply can get the 5-gallon pails for around $50.00 each. I think that Grainger should be able to get them also.

We get ours at Costco. They have their own Kirkland brand that is pretty cheap. They have Dawn and Polmolive as well, but more expensive. The cheap stuff works fine.

Walmart has 58 ounces for $5.99, about 10 cents per ounce. That's pretty cheap.

Over the weekend we cleaned 235 condensers and used soap on about 80 of them. I used about 8 ounces of Dawn. (That means it cost me about a penny per cleaned unit, not bad)

Dawn is safe on copper and aluminum. The is the combination of metals that makes up most coils.

I used simple green before, but found that it left a haze on the fins. I later found out that regular simple green is great for copper, but not so much for aluminum.

My Uncle, who's owned an HVAC company for over 50 years turned me on to Dawn and it works great, even on those sticky restaurant coils.

I called the supplier that I use for certain things and he can get the 5 gallon pail for $75.00. I think that is around $25.00 too much.

I will need to keep checking.

At Sam's club the 90 ounce bottle is $7.66 and the gallon pump bottle is $15.18, that was only around $10.00 a month ago.

That makes the 90 ounce bottle at $0.08 per ounce and the gallon at
around $0.118 per ounce

Seems like it is cheaper to go with the little bottles, what happened to quantity discounts?

Maybe it cost less to mass produce it into the smaller bottles than put a lot of soap into a 5 gallon pail?

Tony have you tried Simple Cherry from bob? I switched to it as an all around soap it alot easier only having to deal with one soap and not multiple ones
The only thing that I didnt like about Simple Cherrry it needs more foaming agents. We tried it last year and had to add Joy/Dawn to it to make up for that. We doubled up on the product and went through the ten bags of SC fast.
