Hey Contractors and Vendors, I am having a contest and you can win some money. All you got to do is add some good content to the UAMCC BB.

Thread/Posting Contest

This is an unofficial contest put out by me (Jeff LeCours, JL Pressure Washing). I didn’t ask the UAMCC if this is OK, so don’t blame them if you don’t like the contest rules or results LOL

Contest starts NOW 12:00pm July25th 2010.



The Prizes are a total of $252.91

1st place is $165.97 cash
2nd place is $55.97 cash
3rd place is $30.97 cash

I would like to gain excitement for the UAMCC Business Board again. So if you would like to be a part of this and win cash$$$$$$ and help gain more traffic for the UAMCC BB and make it a better BB for all, please read below and start posting! This is ALL ABOUT helping, OK and putting some cash in your pocket

If any other CONTRACTOR or VENDOR would like to join in and help sponsor this contest, please contact me and we can add $$$ or parts, chems or anything you want to donate to the three above winnings.

WHO CAN WIN?.......Contractors, Vendors, customers, admin & BOD members of any association or business board....ANYONE
I will pick two other contractors or people to help me pick who should win the $$$Bucks$$$$. I will be watching and reading the UAMCC BB every day and keeping an eye out on what is being posted. Anyone can win the prizes, Contractors, contractor’s wives or husbands, UAMCC or other BB admins or mods, UAMCC BOD members or volunteers. Vendors are allowed and encouraged to post and win also. If someone helps in a thread, gives solutions or just adds to the quality of a thread they can win also. If you start a lot of threads they may accumulate and give you a better chance to win, Post cannot be a bunch of junk posts just to win, but if you have a bunch of decent posts through September 15th you could win also. If your thread contributes the the UAMCC BB, you can be a winner. ANYBODY can win, except me.

Please leave politics out of this. Please refrain from arguing or fighting in any of these threads This contest and threads are to learn, share and or have fun. If it isn’t you aren’t going to get my money. If you do post good stuff you have a good chance of winning some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I am doing good just finshed pw a school, what was great was they paid me the next day. They were very happy how well it came out.

I would like to go and hear Mike Kreisle at Charleston. I miss half of class at the Tampa RT. Are you doing anything at Charleston on PM?

No I am just a spectator, but you know me I like shooting the chit when it comes to business. I have a few new things I am doing,maybe I will share them with ya..I am only going to charge you a beer. LOL

looking forward to it, I heard its going to have a ton of equipment. I saw the CETA show a few years back in Myrtle Beach and I heard this is way bigger and then add on top of that Ron and NCE its going to be awesome, probably the biggest event ever in our industry

1st time I've seen cash prizes for a contest with cents involved.

No offense and don't take anything personally Jeff, I'm just saying the $$$ amounts for the cash prizes look a bit odd is all.

It's like posting a speed limit on a freeway for 58.4 MPH

No offense Vince, Ya it is odd for sure. Its because a buddy of mine, a local PWing contractor Dave Vicars does all his estimates with a 7 in it.

Hey it made you look twice, maybe it is a good sales tool LOL

Re: September15th Thread/Posting Contest

Just wanted everyone to know. The posting contest has ended. There really was very little posting done by anyone on the BB. I know its because there's very little interest in whole and I understand. John Tornabene tried and posted many pictures of his work and other posts, THANKS JOHN.

I had mentioned to John if anyone was going to win this Posting Contest it would be him for his trying. To tell you the truth I cant think of who should get 2nd & 3rd place. John said he wouldn't want the contest money from me. Thanks John, but I think I came up with a good idea and use for the money

I will send $250+ to Johnathan Ellis's wife and in the memo on the check it will have John T's name as donating the money. We all know Johnathan was in a tragic & possibly life changing accident. I much rather see the money go to help Johnathan & his family
