I will have to think about that, I go through too much diesel compared to gasoline per night and its getting old

What are the advantages of having extra heat. Will this aid in moving faster or being alot more efficient when removing gum. For some reason Juicy Fruit is the hardest gum once it gets laid on the ground and is there for a while. The watermellon gum is my favorite during removal second denteen

heat cleans faster and removes old build up quickly as well

sounds like a great trade-off. Theoritically you should be able to move faster thus using the same amount of fuel

they have advantages and disadvantages, I wish I had at least 4 to 6 more feet of trailer

I have been thinking about a 24 footer but everyone i have seen here is similar to the ones in this thread but they have the rails on them. I am really thinking about weatherI want the rails or not

There's only so much diesel that can burn in the space inside the burner so you can increase it but only so much. You can also turn up the fuel pressure with the same nozzle, which is where a pressure guage is helpful so you can tell what your doing. I think theres definitely a sweet-spot you want to find with nozzle size pressure air flo.

we dont let them go over 250 degrees but usually we keep them at no more that 210

I am going to have to play with a temp gauge and fuel pressure gauge to see exactly where im at. Did this take alot of time tinkering

OK Guys, This is the second trailer we built. However, we are modifying it as we speak. I have taken 4 weeks off for upgrades.
Here we go:
1. (2) Hydraulic INDEPENDENT jacks will be placed behind the back wheels. These jacks will extend downward to raise the 13.5k trailer (when filled with water). These jacks will have industrial wheels on them to help move the trailer when in a parking garage. Each jack will have it's own separate hydraulic system/ motor/ reservoir. Independent from the hydraulics on the washer and all other jacks.
Because of this, (3) 1,000 cranking amp batteries will be necessary to power the trailer.
2. Suspension.....I am going with:
- TWO 8K LB DEXTER TORFLEX AXLES RUBBER RIDE These are truly independent axles. NO SPRINGS.
- FOUR WHEEL ELEC. BRAKES
- OIL BATH HUBS
- 8 X 6.5 BOLT PATTERN
Axles will be a OIL BATH system, not greased.
-WHEELS OEM (4) 17.5 X 6.75 PLATE WHEELS 6200 LB CAP
-TIRES (4) 215 75 17.5 H 4805 LBS @ 125 PSI
We decided to go with the 17.5 inch tires because our 16 inch Goodyear's was getting to hot with the load. In the summer, tire pressure increased by 12 to 16%.
As many of you know, 17.5 inch tires tend to run cooler under a heavy load than 16 inch.
All wires, hoses and fuel lines are being rerouted into channels under the frame of the trailer. The channels are made of Galv. Steel and being rubberized for obvious reasons.
The frame is being re engineered by computer to support the ability to raise her up on a tripod system under a full load with out structure failure.

Lots of competition, If you cant get the parts at volume discount pricing, its going to be hard to compete price wise.
