That sounds very interesting.
I was wondering that one day there would be a device to attach cables to trucks or heavy equipment and you just use pressurized water and it would remove not only the dirt, road grime but also the grease, maybe soon.
This looks to be promising, I don't remember if it said that it will kill the HIV or other things that hospitals use, if so that company is going to grow very large.
Nigel, this seems very simple. How could a person make their own electrically charged water?
This is very similar to the concept I started with 5 years ago with the filters, but I hit roadblocks.
I started cleaning them with ultrasonics. You can clean with ultrasonics using nothing but water. Filters come out looking like new and each filter cleaned in 8 seconds.
My intention was a design a small unit that I could lift to the roof, put it in the middle, fill with hot water, clean the filters, dump the water and come down.
The biggest roadblock was that for ultrasonics to work the water must be degassed. And even If I degassed it on the truck, it became saturated with bubbles again through the pumping process somehow.
Second, the ultrasonic hardware wasn't the most ruggedized on the planet and I had to be very careful not to break something.
But I see applications for this technology all over the place. My mind is going 1000 mph right now. Can we make it work in a high volume/velocity environment?
Glad to hear it had some thinking.
The charging process sounds similar to electro-coagulation filtration technology.
I also remember reading about a counter top water purifier that uses the same principles to purify potable water.
Tony, how far have you experimented with ultrasonic cleaning?......, isn't there a toothbrush that claims to use this method of cleaning?
I know you could use ultrasound for imaging and destructive testing.
I think it was used as a weapon in a lot of movies too, HULK and some others, not sure how much of it is fiction.

Nice read Tony, thanks.
Seems like you would still have to wash the filter first to get the heavy stuff off and then provide the ultrasound cleaning.
You want to offer your customers a better finished product or an add on service?
Maybe we should look into buying shares in the company.
