Just another gator in Texas.

That is a good size Gator! I saw on the news last nite they found a 2' long alligator in the front yard of a house and children were standing around watching it not realizing that it could bite them badly.
It is just amazing how fast they can move and how much power they have in those tails to knock things over like their prey.
I heard that they are good to eat. hahahahaha
Some of the guys went gator hunting at the MB Round Table, not sure if they caught anything but they had fun out there!

gator is good ..
beat it ( the meat, not the gator itself ) with a meat tenderizer and give it a marinade, and it is GOOD.

I put an arrow in his back with a couple of the contractors from the MB rt. He got away that night but my buddy went back a few nights later and well... you get the picture.

Did you make steaks or just get the meat to grind up?

fried gator tail small pieces and lots of batter. It is very tough and rubbery meet. I am not really a fan, but have had my fair share.

It always amazes me how strong the gators are, you see them grab a deer, goat or other animal and just whip them around like a rag doll.

You have a good choice of two there or maybe a hybrid.
anyhow, from where I am from we were friends with a trim carpenter. They have their own road they live on called Batten road after them. He is a true country/redneck hybrid. When he cuts the testicles off the hogs to fatten them up his wife stands on the hogs neck. Now thats a woman STANDING behind her man :killingme:
