Power Washing Supplier That Does Not Know Jack!

I have a couple jobs this weekend to wash. One is a house wash and I was in need of a zero degree 0040 tip to get to the peaks because I can not find my old one since we were packing things away. I called a power washing supply company that is a full service dealer. I explained what I wanted and they kept trying to sell me a x-jet for $275. I said I only need the item I told them. They said I do not know about that and it would not draw soap anyhow. I said it sure will and I can get it from Pressure Tek for under $4. I said I Down Stream, I do not prefer x-jets and he said what is down streaming? :sarcastic:

Then I directed him to Bobs sight and also included Mike K's Ky Pressure Washing Video.

I am waiting for his reply. He sold my Wife a 15 degree red tip and some house washing soap when I asked for a gutter wash that will remove oxidation from paint. I am so tempted to place a name here, but I am the type that does not go that route most of the time.

Now I got to try and find some gutter cleaner pronto on a weekend...

Crazy stuff...

A 1/4" hose barb is close to the same size or an air fitting with 1/4" mpt.

That might work, there are guys on the boards that use the hose barbs and you can get those just about anywhere, even at walmart that is open 24/7.

How about for the black streaks in the gutters? I use Gutter Grenade, but am out and had no time to order. I heard Ace aluminum brite works good.

If you have a Northern Tool gutter Zap works good.

Simple green will work in a pinch. Kind of a PITA but it works.

That is kind of funny when my first LANDA came with a DS 26 years ago.

Maybe you should walk in and show him? Maybe if he really doesnt know he will be greatful for the alternative.

I'm also Laughing, 4 dollars and you dont keep extras? LOL thats funny. I have a cabinet full of injectors. I rarely use but I have at least three or four of everything I use and often dozens on cheaper stuff like that. I have 6 rotary unions at 325 each in stock and always three or four pumps and generators.

Seroiusly 4 dollars, stop fooling around and order 6

Its the North East and in PA. This was not a job I was ready for because I just packed it all in for the year. I keep all the smaller stuff stored against the back wall and I was not about to pile through everything for a $4 nozzle with flurries all around. :victory: My victory was Bob at Pressure Tek.

Put the job off til this Saturday. Went ahead and bought the Gutter Grenade from Bob at Pressure Tek. So far that stuff works the best. I used all of the 5's up this year and only had a small bit and tried to do it with simple green on a test spot, but no dice. Gutter Grenade always works for me. I had my most gutter cleaning jobs this year at 117 and never had a problem with that stuff.
