Ammonyx Lo

My Local Chem supplier can get me Ammonyx Lo at $15/gallon I have used it in the past for roof cleaning. Does anyone know if it is safe to add to Hydroxide base stripper for stripping log homes?

I'm not a chemist, but I use it in our hydroxide based degreaser and have no problems.

I don't see why not. Am Lo is a surfactant/ soap. There are no caustic agents or acids in it that would react badly with any other chems.

Try Russ Johnson's "Roof Snot". It can be used for mixes other then roof cleaning solution. And it's around 13 dollars a gallon.

Gotten mine from there many times. I have even had to wait while they mix me up a batch. Gotta LOVE the fresh stuff! Good people to deal with. Chris, give them my name. They may give you my price.
