Looks like weathering to me, because the second pick has that perfect spot where something was sitting and isn't worn there. If it was your mix, it would have stained there as well.
I would agree but the white haze turned up after the cleaning.
It was 2 years ago. No I didn't spit on it. No it wasn't rubbing off. No I didn't per wet. And I have no clue where your going with the friction theory. I do however remember her saying that she had contacted the manufacturer about discolorations not long after it was installed.Let me ask you a question Larry. Does that discolored stuff rub off and did you do a spit test? Was the composite material pre wet before thee onslaught of bleach? Do you think the color can come back by friction ?
That's hard to tell. Could of been oxidized under that grime.

Never use bleach on composite wood it will fade it out and show the fibers
Geezers Xmas batman! Pastic degrades in the sun and weather! There is a ton of bad batches of plastic that degrade fast . There is no way what you did produced the results. I've cleaned thousands of square feet of composite crap and the stronger the bleach the better the result .
Plastic degrades and the quality of material is terrible!
If you say so! Bleach is very bad for the composite. It's not only plastic hint the name, trex does have the upper line that is plastic.
Your before photo the wood looks good, the afters the color has been damaged. We have seen homeowners locally that have done this. Even when we clean a home that has a composite deck we have to change out cleaning methods to not harm the deck
