X-jet or 12v pump for chems

Thinking of getting an X-jet (M-jet actually) for some of the deck cleaning and stucco I get from time to time. My thinking is I get the x-jet to spray the precarb and oxilic for decks at $140ish. Looking for some pro's and con's between x-jet vs. 12v pump. Cheaper and simpler than getting a 12v pump thing going on?

We prefer the xjet for those applications...way easier than pulling out an extra set of hose, and mixing large batches. Whatever you do, don't buy one of those little red battery sprayers (IPS or something) that has the battery in the handle...total junk.

Thanks man, I think I'm going to try it out. So sick of slow pump up sprayers!

I love the x-jet for washing fences and decks, the only problem is if you are washing a deck with painted siding you could really mess up the paint spraying hydroxide everywhere! I use a pump up for everything close to the house and then x-jet the rest.

You would probably like a Chem Caddy way better than an x jet. X jet create a lot of pressure, and misting, so if your using to apply to decks would seem to me a little hard to control what your getting your mix on.

I agree with what Doug posted above, the Chem Caddy is a great tool to have with you when you want to spray stronger solutions, only small areas, have to spray several different chemicals on a job, etc.... I have had one for about a year now and love it.

Lately I have been using it to spray oil spots on concrete since the pump up sprayers don't last, hard to get parts, don't spray enough fast enough, etc....

The Chem Caddy is easy to use, easy to rinse out, easy to change chemicals.

There have not been many discussions about it on facebook but there are a lot of comments on the facebook page for the Chem Caddy that Doug posted above.

Hope this helps.

There are many other contractors that have had similar results with this sprayer.

There are people talking about it on the pressure washing friends facebook page back on April 8 of last year if you want to read about it.

I don't have one and will not buy one after reading that thread but to each his own.
