What is your preferred degree tip for cleaning wood?

A few years ago I used to use 15° tips and regulated pressure by distance.......

Now I hardly ever use anything but 40° tips on wood. I think they are the easiest on the wood.

Which is your favorite, and why?

I feel all degrees mentioned, they have their place...

I use a 40 on the flats or walking area... Change from 25 to 15 when I go from rails and steps, It depends on what wand I am using...

Matt

The majority of the time I am using a 25 degree, but that is subject to the age and condition of the wood. I will vary the pressure with my variable wands most of the time, and also back off the wood somewhat as apposed to the 40 dgree.

I use 40 for just about every kind of cleaning.

I use a 25degree and stay off the wood

the key is the quality of chemical used.

You said it Tim.

I use 40degree tip now - sometimes I will use 25degree tip, depending on the job........

I mostly use a 25* tip, but vary the orifice size. For "normal" cleaning, I use a 25100 at 5 gpm, which gives me 1000 psi at the tip. Many times, I will use a 25120 tip, for about 700 psi and there are times when I use a 25400 tip, which I use to rinse.

EXACTLY JOHN, I HAVE A DOOR PANEL FULL OF GREEN TIPS (25*). I ALSO USE CERTAIN ORFICE SIZES FOR WOOD, CONCRETE, ETC... 40* TIPS WORK GOOD ON WOOD ALSO, I JUST DON'T KNOW WHERE MINE ARE, I ONLY USE 25'S.

turbo or zero..:D They are the best if you want to destroy some wood.

When testing out my foamer, I foamed up my fence let it dwell, and just rinsed it off with a water hose--It came out beautiful. I just had Dawn and water...My fence is crap and I wasn't trying to make it look nice or anything, I was just testing out my foamer, but it actually looks pretty nice now.
