JL Pressure Washing
How many houses do you wash a year?

Are you all resiential or do you do other work, what part of the country are you in, are you full or part time

We dont do to many anymore, we just dont do resi much at all

I wonder what company does the most house washes in a year?

Maybe 10 to 15 a year, mainly clean roofs, but every now and then we are asked to clean whole house.
We do it w/o a pressure washer, using only our chem pumps and garden hose.
Some call it "softwashing".
We always use Borax in our mix to protect against mildew re growth, and provide additional insect protection.
Plus, the Borax softens water, prtects against hard water stains.

Did about 200 in '07. I know that is nowhere near the top as I have heard some outrageous numbers from some companies. I'm switching marketing gears to continuously phase out deck work. I hope to do between 350-400 HW's this year God willing.

Funny, in over 7 years, I have never actually added them up! Off the top of my head, I would have to say right about 300 to 325, not including decks/fences/drives/roofs and the occasional commercial job. 2 or 3 houses/day for much of the year. Mostly repeat/referral, with pretty good results from ads in the Yellow Book and the Community Phone Book - both have a coupon for a free driveway cleaning with housewash for new customers.

At the great rates you get, you'll be a millionaire by the end of the year LOL

Phasing out decks? I have heard and read this past year that many would like to phase out the deck/wood work. Is it just its a bigger PITA than other PWing

Good luck I hope you get at least 401 HW's this year

I know you do a bunch John, hope you get a ton this year:cool:

hmm what would one have to do to get his name into the yellow book?

Pay the bill! lol I guess they aren't everywhere, but they are a competitor to the Yellow Pages. In my area, we have the Verizon Yellow Pages, Yellow Book, the Talking Phone Book, local Community Phone Books as well as one or two local Verizon Yellow Pages.
