Hello every one,

This is my first post on the Pressurewashing Institute bbs. I was hoping to get some input on a old deck, I will be starting next week. The deck is 2200 sf and 10 years old, and the only problem is there has been nothing done to it in 10 years so the deck is very gray. does any one have a good suggestion about how i should tackle this deck with the best results possible? What are the best products to use in this situation? Sorry no pictures yet i will get some today.

wash it with a percab based cleaner. Brighten it.
Set the fasteners.
Hit it with some sandpaper or buffer[see www.deckguide.com]
Then seal with a high solids type sealer to cover up the age and neglect.[cabot's semi-transparent or TWP]
Use lot's of thin coat's, not heavy one's. This deck will drink in sealer like a football player drinks gatorade. Keep this in mind for your bidding/price.

that is what i would use because it's what i have on my rig.
I do want to at least try Steve's stuff but i also would like to try the WOOD TUX from Russ/Beth on a deck like this. Heck ive wanted to try sunbrite also.[this is why i dont want to list brand names anymore-the vendors get mad at me]
Shipping is a killer. I wish i washed just one or two surfaces but i try to wash everything that comes my way. This means multiable vendor's. No break's on shipping.

I'm not sure who you are.... but you have copied our companies "Our Process" page and used it on your web site. I don't mind if people borrow a thing or two off of our site but to copy it exactly with pictures of two of my workers is not going to work. Please remove this from your web site or contact me with regard to some of it's use.

Thank you,

Sorry for that and it will be removed today! An old x-friend / x-partner of mine said he had put it together with his brother when he was working for him in Portland and said I could use it on my web site, I guess he was not telling me the truth. Which really dose not surprise me at all.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have cased you.

P.S. would you mind if I left the wording and replaced the pictures with my own?
