12 % v. BLEACH

Help a moron understand.

Been looking for 12% in the Nashville area, all I find are pool suppliers that want to order some for me @ $4.50 a gal...... AIN'T HAPNIN.

What is the difference in 12% and bleach?
 
bleach is 5.5 to 6% sodium hypochlorite weight by volume and well 12.5% is twice the weight of sodium hypochlorite in the same, so it is over twice as strong and can go further, I get mine for 1.60 cents a gallon but I get 15 to 16%. some get it as low as .98 cents a gallon.

If you are cleaning homes the 6% will work fine but if you are trying to do roofs you will need 12.5% and your ratio will need to be 2:1 --- 2 parts water 1 part 12.5% Sodium hypochlorite

no Chris I dont, I return what messages I can, it is crazy the phone calls I get in a days time. I hate that I dont have the time to stop and help everyone, really its not personal, I just have waaaaay too much going on most of the time. I am going to try to make a New Years resolution (3 years in a row) To try to find a way to answer all the questions and phone calls I am able too but I still work in the field like you guys so between that and 4 children, 1 wife, 1 ex wife, 3 dogs, 2 homes, employees and their troubles and their families troubles, a pool, football, baseball, wrestling, gymnastics, civic functions just to name a few its hard to talk on the phone. I will be honest with you the best time for me to talk on the phone is while we are out of town working, usually between 9pm and 7 am ....... hahahaha

Your mean for a 100gl mix, 66gl water 33gl chemicals? The algae here would laugh at me. Even with a hot mix, sometimes 50/50 doesnt work very well.
