I am looking for a 14 gpm 800 psi pump. Any recomendations? I will be using it for a high pressure R/O system.

It may be cheaper to run a dual pump setup, than one pump at 14 gpm (at least triplex pumps). You would also have the added redundancy of two pumps or two entire units.

2 TSF2021 at (1450 rpm) = 14 gpm

you only want 800 psi

you could run that setup on a 13hp motor with 2 pumps

I would call the vendors and see what they recommend.

Do you have an engine already?

Do you have a generator? A friend of mine is upgrading his D.I. system and going with an electric pump, not that big of a system but is going with 6gpm at 125psi for more flow. Those pumps are about $450.00 each and are ready to plug in and start transferring water.

this will be a stationary system using a 240 single phase motor. I am thinking because I only need 800 psi that I could just spin a tfs pump faster then spec to get the 14 gpm.

I would call the vendors, some pumps should not go too fast, sometimes they need to stay at a certain rpm where others can go faster, the guys that work on them should know or have it in their books.

With that size electric motor, you might be able to just add another pump to what you have, one pump on the right side side of the motor, one pump on the left side of the motor.

What is the HP rating of the motor at what rpm?

this will be a new system I am building for a customer in Hawaii. I already have a R/O system setup on one of the trucks running off a converter. Kinda cool having the only portable R/O system in town.

What size motors would you need for those Russ?
