About a year ago I bought a 20" GP Hammerhead surface cleaner from the Internet. It strarted leaking out the weep hole and O rings. I sent it back for a rebuild. It came back last week still leaking from the weep hole. So I sent it back. I called them yesterday and they said a leaky weep hole can't be fixed. The manufacture has no parts to fix it.. Is this true?
 
Leaky weep hole... Isn't there medication for that?
 
A very occasional drip is all that you should see, I think. Did they replace the carbide seal?
 
Art, I just went through a similar situation with mine. Even replaced the whole bearing assembly which wasn't covered under warranty and it crapped out again in less than a month. I said screw it and bought a Whisper Washer Clasic last week and its awsome. For some reason GP and their Hammer Head units are not holding up like they used to. They went to sealed bearings and they are absolute junk. I wont ever buy another one. I still have one Hammer Head that is working but everyone keeps fighting to use the classic. Looks like I might end up buying another.
 
I have just gone thru my second hammer head and I too bought a classic whisper wash. My employees went from hating concrete to wanting to do more. Money well spent. I will never by another gp but I will probably buy a second whisper wash.
 
I have four Classics for Breezeways, and some Big Guys. Whisper wash is what I choose
