Aplus Member Dec 21, 2001 #3 Oh yeah? You should try removing Thompsons after several coats have been glopped upon each other over a few years. I've had to use sodium hydroxide strippers to get it all off. In fact, it rarely comes off with just water or mild cleaning agents.
