Has anybody done work for TWI (Tech wash Inc) Are they good to do work for, Do they pay on time, ect... ect...:scratchhead::scratchhead:

That is a very sore subject around here if you have not been on the boards since march.

I will not say all the bad things about that lowballing, hack company, I will let others tell you how they want more money than what the contractor is getting and I will let the others out there tell you how they try to get you to work very dangerously and other bad things but I will not say them here.

Got a call from a guy named Nick from TWI today, wanted me to give them an estimate for the target store here in town. So i did........sit back see what happens...........Thanks for the reply.

Do a search for that company, Target, Compactors,JITB, Jack In The Box, and that should give you a lot of reading for a while to make your own decision if you want to take a chance and work for them or not.

They are a good Company, rookies in the industry publically released some info publically. Cause a problem, alls good and they are good folks.

I have not heard any non-payment problems and have around 8 freinds doing stuff for them all over the country.

Nicks a good Guy, hey Nick if your reading.

If you want some guys I know that currently do work i can give you names privately.

No Ron that okay, I'll take your word, your a good guy. I didn't know so I thought I would ask. Thanks for the replys.

If you have a salesforce and/or have a labor force that lets you do the sales, if you spend the time getting through the redtape to find the right person to talk to, and you are willing to do some single unit cleanings to get your foot in the door, you don't need a service company like Tech Wash. Your expenses are going to be higher but you can get a higher price.

If you are an owner operator trying to get your feet wet with some steady multi location commercial work, a service company may be your ticket. Keep in mind two things. A service company can be out there selling on price. Then they are also gonna take a cut.

Chris, I didn't know you did work for TWS. Bad experience?

We've done work with TWS. We very rarely if ever fell short of $100/hr not including travel time. Payment will be made promptly on 30 days and Nick is a very good person to work with.

Here is the deal they will set the price either you accept it and be happy or don't do it all.

Some will take it and bitch like they don't have a choice.

I almost did but the info changed several times, I did not want to be pulling compactors with a chain and using my truck bumper to push them back, I found out from Ron a much, much easier and better way to do them but that is after I found out more info about them that I did not care for. There are contractors in other cities that are probably happy working for them and that is ok.

Here at the local store there is not a drain where the compactor is and it is a good slope downward so all the wash water will end up there in the pit, a large part of the parking lot slopes toward that pit so more of a pita to deal with and for the other locations that were 2 hours to 2.5 hours away there would not be multiple stores to do after all, first it was going to be go there and do all you can in a day then come back but then it changed to as needed. Can't drive 2 hours each way, do the job for only $175.00 and dealing with a manager, wasting more time, it would end up taking most of the day for that amount of money, I don't prefer to do that.

The compactor here was not one of the ones in the package so he did not know what is going on and said he would get back to me about that and about the drain, I called a few times and left messages but did not hear back from him, this is in the beginning of all this right after the Houston Luncheon we had back in March I think.
