I was just at my local wrecking yard and they had one of the old NPR Lawn Care trucks there. The clamshell was open and inside was this...

I bought it just for the hell of it. It needs new rewind motors (chain driven), swivels, and probably new relays. Might keep it for my Hot Water Dragon and one of my smaller Air Pump setups, might fix and sell it off. Just need to know where to get motors for the thing. There are zero markings on it. I suspect it is made by Titan since it has the PVC pipe center hub they use...but not sure.

You would think that there would be a serial number or some kind of info. It does not look like a Hannay, it is nice though.

You don't want to sell it would you? I know several people that would buy it, maybe myself included.

I've changed plans and yes, I Would be interested in selling the reel stack. I sent you an email.

I'll bet Titan , you google Titan reel photos ?

I'm 99% sure it is Titan. Sent them several inquiries but no responses. Will need motors so whether we keep it or sell it to a fellow contractor, it needs motors. Hard to order them when nobody returns your calls or emails.

My bet would be Hannay...thats what most Lawn Care/Fertilizing companies have that I see...

Actually I don't think it is Hannay. Reason why is because all the Hannay reels use full metal construction.
These, are plastic spools (see picture) . Leads me to believe it is Titan because they do use plastic inner spools.

Did the stack get sold? if not pm me interceded in them as is. Thanks.

Also the hannays I have are plastic. About 20 + years old.

I sent you a PM. Investing on the Hannay...always thought they were metal and nothing but metal. Heck, if it turned out to be Hannay, I'm a dealer for them and can get the motors. Only reason I'm thinking it might not be is that all Hannay reels I've ever seen going back decades have had model/serial plates. This stack has no plate.
