Anyone ever bid against GoodWill?

Yes, I have. Powerwashing is one of the things that they do in order to support their other programs. You have bid against them, as well. They are not low ballers, they actually are pretty fairly priced, at least in the Phoenix market.

I did not know that they had services they offer, is that nationwide or just there?

I don't know if it is nationwide. I know they also use it as a training program so that people can find jobs, and get resume experience.

They use disabled people in there programs. I love to see Jim Cooney take photos of disabled people an there work. Turn them into to authority's, just saying.

Scott's right they are not low ballers. This I believe is another way they raise money for the non profit.

They have been putting the pinch on land lords when renewing leases.

They are not all handicapped. Some of them are as fully capable as we are, at least in this part of their enterprise, and it is an enterprise. Sometimes it is just a job training program for someone down on their luck.

Well I learned my lesson, one of there people took the seal cost off the entire front of the store. I had to meet the guy along with his crew leader to discuss with the owner. One guy showed up in a wheel chair the other with a bad prosthetic leg. Both looked homeless, driving a mini van with about every cleaning tool an array of ladders strapped every which way.

At the end of the day the owner just asked them not to take care of it. He would up the service from my company an still pay them but asked them not to service the Property.

I bet that was an awkward situation seeing them like that and dealing with the damage.

I hope they learn about the damage and not take it the wrong way and hopefully do a better job at the next location without damaging anything.
