Apple scent

I keep my simple cherry under the back seat.....Makes the truck smell a whole lot better....lol plus it makes me some cheezzzzzeeeee
 
I tried Bobs Simple Cherry and mixed it as prescribed, but I did not see much of an masking effect.

I tried to get in contact with Lori and it was full as can be expected from a Distributor that has everyone hounding them :>)

I sent a Email and no response...

My only option is to just go it alone and see what I can find on my own to take off the tip of the sword(SH) with the smells, but I do agree that maybe it might not be a great idea to mask anything...My Dad was in the petroleum business for a while and all those fuels delivered to your houses have that smell added to them because they by themselves have no smell. Its like an idiot light in a car...without it you would not know there was a leak unless you had it checked...

In your defense Lori...I realize that your email could be bombarded as well so no ill feelings from me...

Stop being so sensitive Lori.

If your products are good then you have nothing to worry about, you also can't make everyone happy.
 
Ive used simple cherry and at the time I didnt think it really covered the smell until I went to amonyx with the 12%. Gag.

I prefer the amonyx though because of its stability with the bleach. Its nice knowing if you mix a batch today its not going to be dead in the morning.
 
1. Simple cherry doesnt mask the smell in a roof mix, but does mask the smell in a house wash mix.

2. If asked I would post the same thing at RCIA.

3. I am not using the smart phone app, I keep denying it.

4. Dawn will not kill a mix overnight. Alcohol will. Dont use it.

I am sure that they are getting hundreds of emails a day along with phone calls also so if they don't respond to your emails the same day then be patient with them, they offer some of the best service, products and prices out there.

It is kind of like customers calling us, we will get back to them as soon as we can but we don't like it too much when they wait 5 minutes then call another contractor then tell you when you call that you took too long to call back and the other contractor got the job. Kind of unfair but some customers are like that. I know that I speak for a lot of us that we don't really like those kind of customers anyway, kind of pita's.

Good things come to those who wait.

I ordered some looking forward to see how it works. I do a lot of condos and every now and then you get the complaints of "Oh that bleach smells so bad" I not sure what they expect

I had the very complaint this weeek. Done this project 4 years in a row and all of a sudden the manager tell me two of the BOD don't like the smell. I laughed with the manager and said I'll see what I can do

I have used this odor mask before. Its from Genco Janatorial Supply, its a Citrus concertrate they use on many hotels on the beach. I put it in a 2 gallon pump up sprayer and walk the hallways/breezeways and spray it all over. Real nice smell and an added touch. I use it every once in a while.

When I first started washing I used to use Simple Green, thats another good smell, but expensive
 
I still use the Simple Cherry and it masks the bleach smell pretty good, maybe you mixed it differently than what some of us do, we all don't mix it up the same way and hardly any of us mix it with water beforehand.

I am eagerly wanting to try the apple scent, I hear great things about it and want to start using it in the house wash mixes and the roof cleaning mixes. Maybe even add it to the truck wash mixes also? hahahahaha

I have done similar things with Vanilla, Watermelon and Strawberry scents, it does help a lot and leaves the place smelling nice.
 
I just thought it was out of line to say you can get something cheaper through a manufacturer than a distributor who has very good prices and she really busts her hump for all of us with new products, fast delivery & outstanding customer service.
