Banks and doctors and strip malls, oh my!

There are a couple of banks a small shopping center and a dentists office I would like to cold call about cleaning their concrete sidewalks. I've researched pricing for this but still have questions.
.10/sq ft seems to be a common price, but, should the first cleaning be higher and then .10 when doing maint. cleaning? None of these walks are severly dirty, no gum to speak of and no grease. Just typical traffic dirt and that wonder tinting of Virginia red mud.
Also, is there a typical schedule for maint. cleaning I should suggest?
Thanks

There are always a lot of questions about pricing but everyone's business is different and everyone's market is different.

I have occasionally asked for pricing help too, but it really doesn't matter what someone else charges. Everyone's needs know what it takes for them to make a living and charge accordingly.

With that being said .10 may be a good starting point. Maybe too high maybe too low....

good luck and best wishes - hope it turns out well

It all depends on what you want to make and how well you sell yourself.

There are some on this board that would make great money at .04 cents per sq.ft and other that would need to charge .12 per sq.ft to make the same margins. You should really play with your numbers and see how long it takes you to do the job.

Try to see how much you can clean in one hour, then take the rate you would like to make hourly, do a little computing and see what you come up with. So say you can clean 2,000 sq.ft in one hour and you would like to make $100.00 per hour, you would need to charge $.05 cents per sq.ft to make those numbers work out
