Building Measurments ?

Hey, everyone

How do measure the Sq footage of a Building (apartment) I know finding sq ft is length x width do i do that on buildings or is it perimeter x height ?

We use perimeter * height to find the total area. However as long as you are adjusting your pricing to fit, you can measure it any way you like Ie: Charge by linear foot, different price depending on how many levels or increasing your sq ft price depending on how many levels...
