10 years of service with customer over. I need to vent for a minute or two. This copany filed backruptcy a few years back and they begged us to stay with them even though we had roughly 12k locked up in the court system(was advised to settle for way less to insure I would recieve a small portion or risk getting nothing). I agreed to stay on board and we continued to get paid for services after bankruptcy. Fast forward to about 2 months ago, I get a phone call from new district manager and he says for us to continue service we have to do work for xxx amount of dollars per store. I agree to the new price for the local stores but discontinued service to out of town locations. Get a call today from same guy and he says that if we cant do all locations for the same price that he wants to cancel service to all locations. I told him we will no longer be providing our services to them at his reccomended prices and I also told him how loyal we have been to his company over the last decade.

We have worked for this company for 10 years, he's only been with them for 8 months. He will see soon enough why all the upper management has left once he stops drinking the cool aid they are serving him.

Oh well time to hit the streets and sell, sell, sell. The point of this rant is to the new guys in business and the vets like myself always remember this is a business and only worry about making money and if there's none to be made move on! Loyalty means nothing to prolly 90% of all large corporations.

You hit the nail on the head!! There is no loyalty! So allways be on the lookout for new business that makes you more money and get rid of the ones that dont!
