We cleaned this roof in Celebration Florida this past week. Proved to be quite the challenge. Used ammonyx with apple. Went thru approx 70 gallons of mix.

That Roof Cleaning came out great. What was the challenge? Looks like a nice easy Shingle Roof to Clean. 70 gals is not bad for a Roof that size. To be honest, we probably would have gone through even a bit more mix than that. We normally apply two coats to most Roofs. It looks Great!!!

I have discovered as well that two coats with weaker mix is better way than one coat with stronger mix. It might take more time, but I prefer the safe way :)..

How are you doing Larry? :wave3:

Great Job Nick !!

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

How many Sq ft is the house? double garage? Did you repeat it or it took only one coat? 70gal mix is great for that house!

Nice work! :)

The actual area of the house was around 3800 sqft. I had to apply a second coat to most of the upper part. I had a mix that was approx 40%. I made it that strong because of the pitch at the top. My main pump crapped out and I ended up using a 3 gpm delavan to do it. The challenge was tying down properly. I pretty much self belayed to the peak. Should have rented a lift, but hindsight is 20/20. For the front I sprayed from the peak and at one point added a 7Ft extension to my ball valve cause I just didn't have the distance on the 3 gpm.
For some reason the picture I took of the front was smeared ?? So I have attached the one from the appraisers site.

Steven, Mrs Go gave me a nice tip!

Yes, 2 coats with weak roof cleaning mix is better then one coat of strong mix, and will leave less missed spots, as well as being easier on Plants.
Nice Roof Cleaning in Celebration Nick !

I am surprised that the roof was that bad. Celebration is pretty picky

Yeah you'd think but a lot are like that in the area! This HO received a letter about it. Gave 3 estimates to homes in the immediate vicinity last week. We shall see!

That roof cleaning job came out good.

I have not seen a roof like that one before, maybe additions over the years?

It seems to be the model Chris in that area of town. Roofs so steep you'd think they were expecting snow!
