you need to send Kory your info. Hurry up before it fills up, I'm sorry you thought I registared you. Kory is handling that, lucky theres still spots. Send the name company, he will send you the requested info you need after he receives your email.

Are you insane?:confused: I mean, I get the whole RSVP thing, but that's a little extreme... In fact, that kind of statement might deter some from attending to begin with.:eek: Food for thought! (no pun intended of course)

I've seen the size of some of the guys going... I don't think leftover food will be a problem. Besides there are always to go containers...:)

Beth, The point is that its free. dont be a bone head take someone else places and then not show.

Should I have candy coated it, besides all coming are big boys and girls. You registared and said your coming. SHow up are simply call and cancel, my feelings are not going to be hurt if you dont show up.

We had 8 in atlanta that thought the event was canceled for whatever reason.

We also had some that didnt registar and the food there was not free. We took time away from everyone else that did pay.

Yeah, i'm nuts because this is a benifit to the contractor and I'm not selling them anything except the possibility they leave with rich information that will onlty benifit them.

Its really not that big of a deal, if you show no issue. If your not call and be nice and let us know.

We already have a waiting list.

Next year will will get a room we can expand. Remember when you where giving Kory crap about moving the room. Well it was my fault we booked to small of a room. I hate turning people away, Believe me I do.

So this makes the point, be responsible and let us know.

Heck in Bama we had 9 show that didnt registar out of 30. That great and all but doesnt work when ordering food and having chairs.
 
I've never been politically correct. probably won't start now. See everyone in FL next week. Will have fun while some here question the event. Those who might have Beth opionion you will leave the event glad you actually showed up.

MB round has over 60 and Jeff and I are expanding it.

Fl next year will be huge i'm sure with lots of Prizes. ( I'll bet large prizes)
 
I talked to Jimmy from Rhodes Roof Cleaning In Lakeland last night.
He dont hang out on these boards that much, but is registered on TGS I know, maybe here too ?
He expressed a desire to attend.

Oh for crying out loud....You have been participating in these for years....don't know how many you have actually coordinated or hosted, but extra food happens. Not enough food can happen, but hey - if there is a pizza place nearby you can fix that too. Let the locals take the extra food home to feed their families. (have seen that done) If you hold it at a place that has a special menu set for you and charges by the heads that are seated, you will never have a problem with too much food or not enough funds to cover it.

Beth, I think your missing the point. We are full, if your not attending we just want to be able to accept the people on the waiting lists.

If you think I'm worried about the money? I think you missed the point, I have booked and had more of these events that probably anyone here. I run fund raisers and all sorts of charity events.

Its simple, its plain rude to tell someone your showing up and then not inform them you cant make it. Thats simple, let us know if your not coming. Kory and myself and others worked hard and we are paying for the event out of our own pockets.

I dont understand your logic here. Just let us know if your not showing and you wont get a bill. Come and enjoy the free food drinks and table. have fun but come if you say you are, if something happens let us know.

Man there are some rude ass people on this board. I dont get the problem? If your not comming and you said you were just call, big deal.

If i got that kind of reaction from people i would not hold any type of R/T for free or not..Hey Ron looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the guy's. Dont forget to bring your swimming trunks..
