Checklists

How many people use them? How important are they? Before and after a project and truck checklist, equipment checklist.
I'm considering a few, as in the past I was running around and wasting my time, customers time and spending a little more than what I imagined ( fuel, mileage, sanity )

I use one most of the time. I do a lot of work out of town, and before taking a road trip I will make a list of everything I think that I will need or posssibly break. It will also help you to remember if you left anything on a job.

I do a checklist every morning before I leave. Never know if someone used the last bandaid on a job or certain chemicals the day before. Hate to leave without it and then need it.
