I'm new at pressure washing and am a little confused about dilution of cleaning chemicals. Many of the formulas that I have read about on this forum say to mix bleach, liquid Tide (or comparable), dish liquid, and some type of dishwasher spot eliminator liquid. It seems that these ingredients are to be mixed together in a 5 gallon bucket with the remaining part composed of water. After following the formula, I now have a five gallon bucket of this formula which is diluted by the addition of the water. I currently have a chemical injector that produces a non-adjustable 5 to 1 after the pump dilution. Assuming I'm washing a house, if I apply the solution through my pressure washer wand with a wide angle tip is it going to be too strong or too weak? I'm thinking that there are injectors that can even give higher dilutions. I'm not sure what chemical usage I should expect. I produce 4 gpm at 3500 psi cold water with my machine and don't want to do any more work than I have to but at the same time I don't want to have troubles from too strong of a chemical usage. Thanks ahead of time for your help.
