Chemical Dilution?

I'm new at pressure washing and am a little confused about dilution of cleaning chemicals. Many of the formulas that I have read about on this forum say to mix bleach, liquid Tide (or comparable), dish liquid, and some type of dishwasher spot eliminator liquid. It seems that these ingredients are to be mixed together in a 5 gallon bucket with the remaining part composed of water. After following the formula, I now have a five gallon bucket of this formula which is diluted by the addition of the water. I currently have a chemical injector that produces a non-adjustable 5 to 1 after the pump dilution. Assuming I'm washing a house, if I apply the solution through my pressure washer wand with a wide angle tip is it going to be too strong or too weak? I'm thinking that there are injectors that can even give higher dilutions. I'm not sure what chemical usage I should expect. I produce 4 gpm at 3500 psi cold water with my machine and don't want to do any more work than I have to but at the same time I don't want to have troubles from too strong of a chemical usage. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

I use the xjet nozzle, which injects 2 to 1. 2 parts high pressure water for every one part of whats in your bucket.

injection types
Upstream=Max 22% and chems go threw your pump
some chems can damage your pump
Downstream= max 22% and you can put all most anything in it
disadvantage must use a low enuff pressure[tip size] to get a draw.
At the tip injection [x-jet type] is after the pump and high pressure and the proper size x-jet can give you a 50% draw and shoot it 35 ft.
disadvantage is the overspray and chems must be carried around with the wand.
Shur-flo pump,battery,hand cart/wagon,hose,and wand
100% chem or sealer
disadvantage heavy,overspray
I have all of these and use each one to my advantage.
My 2 cents on house washing.
Get the whole set up from ron strickland.
The x-jet tip,the close range adp.,and 4 of the enclosed bucket's. Then get an extra langth of the supply tubeing and a 6 ft lance to use when you need a little extra height or there is a breeze.
Dont skimp on the enclosed buckets like most do.
Open buckets get knocked over and get crap in them from the supply line falling out of the open buckets and putting it back in.
This will cost you around $240 and when you get it , it wont look like much. Dont worry, it will impress the hell out of you when you go to use it.
I also would start out useing some of his cleaners also. Get his GUTTER ZAP.
After doing one or two houses and doing more research you will find the homemade stuff works well but start with the "real deal" and then go from there.
Understanding why you are useing what is in your homemade mix, will help you to adjust the mix, to get the results your looking for.
DO NOT BREATH IN ANY CHEMS!!!!!!!!!
BLEACH CAN DO YOU A LOT OF HARM.
Do a search on housewashing,x-jet,bleach,shr-flo,downstream,injection,ect....
PS other people sell the x-jet also and some run specials that's fine but i think only ron at xstream has the buckets and gutter zap.
