New company in Maryland struggling to get started, any suggestions.
I bought a very nice trailer mounted hot/cold rig. I have done fliers all over but not much luck. Any help out there

I know some poeple join the chamber of commerece and they get leads from that.
Others just pound the pavement and if they see something that needs to be done they chase it down.Word of mouth will spread from there.

How about a targeted mailer sent to the higher end homes in your area I know you can do this through the local newspapers.

What kind of work are you looking for?
If we know what is is you want to clean then Im shure someone here will offer some sound advice.

I would love to do mostly commercial ( buildings, parking lots, sidewalks, ect. ) but I have been doing nothing but houses, pool patios and decks which is fine. I guess I just need to be patient, its only been 1 1/2 months. Its just hard to satisfy the old lady after dumping almost $10,000.00 in this machine. I just put a ad in local pennysaver and it runs for 13 weeks, so I am crossing my fingers.

Thanks for the advice

That would be wonderful and very much appreciated, but the only problem is that I have not had enough work to give up my full time week job yet. So I have been doing everything in the evenings and weekends. But I would love to find a way to see the pros do it. Maybe we can work it out soon.

Thank You Henry, Iam very new to the Pressure Washing business, have messed around with my little one for years just doing friends and familys, but now that I got the big machine and I am trying to do it full time I am really struggling. Just glad I have not quit my day job yet. I make alot of money at my day job but, I have had it and wanna go on my own.

If you make alot of money from your day job then why are you looking to leave it so badly?? Powerwashing is a great field to be in..but..you may not make "Alot" of money for a few years. It sounds like you should hold on to that high paying day job and do the powerwashing as a partime gig until your about as certain as can be that you can make the desirable amount of money to keep yourself afloat and then some. You say your "really struggling" with the powerwashing so don't make the fulltime dive just yet. Maybe you need to draw up a business plan and set goals before you make the fulltime plunge......

Hey John,

If you get some time give me a call and we can chat about what your doing now and what types of things you can do to kick things into motion for you. I'll be out on the chesapeake bay tomorrow fishing but I'm always available to chat.
