Hey everyone I was just curious if any of you out there save some of the cleaning tips that appear on these BB's I do I have just gone over 16 pages.

I was wondering if others are taking advantage of these boards to their best ability.

When I go do an estimate and I'm not sure what to use and what it will cost I tell the customer I will have to calculate it this evening and give them a call in the morning, I then come home and look at my clening tips page to see how much and what to use,it is better than come running up posting and waiting for reply I already have the anwser stored in my computer.

I always save anything I see that I think I could possibly encounter in the future.

Whenever there is something I want to save, if I dont think i will remember it, I save it to a note file in Microsoft Outlook. This also synchronizes with my Pocket PC.......which I have with me at all times.

Hey Andrew,

Yes I do this too. I save the best tips in 3 ring binders. I have binders now for Deck & Fence, House Wash and Fleet washing.

I set them up with tabs for Pricing, Chemicals, Tips & Tricks, and general info.

Works for me!

Great Idea Shawn/Mike too

That is a great idea I think I will start working on putting everything into binder.

Mike I definetly like the idea of the Pocket PC but with just recently purchasing some more equipment and a digital camera I really dont have much left in my budget, possibility later down the road though after all we are living in the day of computers.

Thanks Guy's See Ya on the Boards...

Maybee im nutz but I have a laptop in the truck with the info I put into selected files (House, Flatwork, Brick, Etc). I Also have a printer for printing invoices, you know how impatiant people can be. It all runs off an inverter just fine.

That's not nutz I've been checking into this myself I hope to be on the level you are by 6/2002 Hopefully! I definetly think that is the way to go probably better off to bypass the pocket pc and move straight to laptop. Thanks for quick reply Walter
