I have a 4000 psi @ 4.0 gpm and a 3000 psi @ 2.9 gpm machines can they be hooked up together to produce 6.9 gpm and how do I do it.

it can be done if the pressure is reduced on the 4000

Sell them both and get an 8 gpm 24.

Sell them both and buy the battery box and pull rope for a 24hp 8 gal unit.
Save your pennies for the rest of it.
;)

nice anwser Speck. all it shows is you don't know the anwser to my question

He knows very well the answer to your question. His response was to the suggestion that you sell those home ownwer grade machines and buy a professional one. He just pointed out that the suggestion wasn't complete without the disclosure that you'd have throw in some $$$ to afford the better machine.

By the time you spend all the time trying to increase GPM, you could have just bought the Professional unit.

On sale now..... http://www.pressuretek.com/bedr8gpm35ps.html

8 GPM @ 3500 cold... $2525

funnier !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I wasn't trying to be. I was just pointing out that he was going to have to come up with some serious boot to make that deal.

Hotwaterwizard told him that it could be done if he matched pressure. It's possible but I don't think it would be fun. If you have no idea how to do this I would leave it alone.

My suggestion would be to bust your hump and do as many housewashes as you can with that 4 gpm machine and then upgrade to a belt-driven 5.5gpm when you felt you needed it.
There are pros and cons to an 8gpm machine. I know some guys around here that had 8 gpm and got rid of them.

also, at 8 gpm you are definitely going to have to have a real big water tank, a spicket isn't going to do it.

Way to be politcally correct, or else.......

Ron,
Shouldn't someone be able to come on here anonymously, demand information, and get huffy if it isn't hand fed to them?
Wow, I thought that was what we were here for.

OK, sarcasm mode OFF.

And behold, they made a New God.
Ya know, we all sit and dream, and "build" killer rigs in our minds.
This one looks kool.
But, I was looking at sewer jetters, and they make some pressure cleaning stuff that makes 8 gpm look like a toy.

HOW big can someone pratically go, and what is the limitation ?
In roof cleaning, run off is our problem, but I have used 30 GPM pumps to clean roofs with before.
