Crawfish Boil?

If you were invited to a crawfish boil, would you go?
Would you know what to expect?
Is eating spicy crustaceans repugnant to you or would you hog the mudbugs?
Or would you stick to shrimp?

Crawfish! Yumm. I was eating Crawfish in Covington, Louisiana just a couple weeks ago on Good Friday! I say yes to crawfish broils. I think it would be a good idea.

Went to a Crawfish boil 3 weeks ago, going to one next weekend.
Im in.....
Cant beat a good shrimp boil either.

It's looking like July 25-27 is gonna work out the best.
We're working on the best hotel deal but should have that done after the weekend.

... not for me, I like steaks, chicken, pork, lamb... my fish diet goes as far as good old fish (in batter) and chips!!!!

we have alot of crawfish up here in yuba city (30 miles north of sacramento ca) when the farmers drain off the rice fields. before catrena hit one of my customers would drain off all his rice fields and catch the crawfish and send them down to LA and make some very good money.

That with a lot of beer, definately a great experience to be had. I go every time I am invited.

Too bad they are not bigger.

I like lobster, shrimp, scallops and salmon. Do crawfish taste like any of those?
