Deck cleaning help. Process/pricing

The flat part of the deck is 900 sq.ft., it is 3 levels, just a single step down to each level. They only want a estimate on cleaning it, to get it ready for sealer (husband is going to seal) but I wanted to give them an estimate for the cleaning and an estimate for a full wood restoration. (railings and everything)

What method would you guys use for this project?

I'm going to try and get some pics uploaded soon! Thanks everyone!!

It all depends if the deck has been previously sealed or stained. If so, then you need to strip then clean. There's really only one process to safely and effectively clean wood. If you don't it then you probably shouldn't give an estimate for the job. There is plenty of info here, just search. Railing and spindles take a lot more time than the actual deck, so bid appropriately.

What Shawn said is correct if the wood has been stained then you will have to Strip off the old stain/ Sealer then you will have to Brighten/ Neutralize the wood. There is no need to clean the deck after you have stripped it. As for the pricing, how bad is the wood? How long will it take you to do the cleaning? If you need any more help feel free to contact me
