Do I need to winterize my water-fed pole system?

Hello, quick question, during the winter is there some type of winterizing I should be doing for my water-fed pole system? I've had it for 3 years and have never winterized it during the winter months. I live in NJ where it gets too cold to use it for at least 2 months during the winter. It has RO, DI on it. It is stored in a heated garage.

Ok, good. The only reason I am wondering is because someone told me that mold could be an issue if it isn't being used for a while. Is that true?

Just run some water thru it or change the filters out before you put it back in use. But it shouldn't be a problem.

In a heated garage? Never.

Since its a heated garage you should be fine. If you can run water thru it once a month that would be good as well.
