PW Invention Idea:
Here’s what I’m thinking, there’s a lot of smart people out there that have ideas for new types of PW equipment, but don’t necessarily have the resources available to produce it. I have an excellent fabricator (welder, machinist, etc) that can develop prototypes and bring those ideas to fruition. Although its not always an easy task and requires an ongoing commitment of time and money. If you’re interested, I would be interested in bringing those ideas to life. This my first blush as this (as a facilitator, but not inventor), and I don’t have all the answers, so I’m really open to suggestion, however I would assume it would break down something like this:
First, I would be happy to sign any Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that protects you from your idea being shared with others. We can figure out which one to use.
Second, I would assume it would follow one of these 3 options:
1. You pay for the development of the prototype, shipping, etc. You own the prototype and all intellectual property and it is your responsibility for ensuring it (i.e. Patent). You pay me a facilitation fee (negotiable) but I would expect the price to be about 1 good days PW sales.
2. You pay for the development of the prototype, shipping, etc. You own the prototype and all intellectual property and it is your responsibility for ensuring it (i.e. Patent). You pay me a reduced facilitation fee, and we sell your product exclusively (for a fixed time) on PowerWashStencils.com. I receive a commission on the sales (TBD).
3. Together we agree to develop the prototype. We split the cost of prototype development, shipping, etc. We both equally own the prototype and all intellectual property, and are equally charged with ensuring it (i.e. Patent). There is no facilitation fee. We sell your product on PowerWashStencils.com. We determine the commission structure, most likely 50/50 minus costs.
Obviously none of this has been put to the test yet, so while all agreements will be binding, the development of this agreement is subject to change.

Thanks Marc
