Has anyone tried the new concrete cleaner that they have for drive thru's? Just wondering.

DR 60 is the product and it is a liquid - applied with an airless sprayer - then pw'd. I tried it about 2 yrs ago on some drive thrus...Bottom line, too expensive and, if a second application is needed, you have to wait until the drive is dry - another trip.

If the drive to be cleaned is not too heavily greased-up, I might use it...if it weren't so expensive. As I recall a 5 gal bucket is about $100 - not including shipping. You will use about 1 gal per lane. Also as I recall, hot water is not needed as long as air temps are above 70.

Take a look at www.rekrete.com They have a waterless cleaner that sounds pretty good. I am going to give it a try. You do not neeed to worry about reclaiming water with this stuff.

Price is not important..

John Orr said too expensive, that is not the Power washers problem,
if owner/manager wants stains cleaned up, and the only products
that will clean them are expensive, that should get passed to the
store, if they wont pay,,, next customer will......... after explaining
what it can do for their property, either they will pay for quality
or they wont, just keep in mind chemicals are getting cheaper and
cheaper lot's of competetion, better products, it is a whores business
now, the high priced chemical companies are soon to be out of
business....
