Dryvit Cleaning and Sealing pricing

I am doing the building below. I have not cleaned dryvit before and would like to see what you are charging and what you would charge for this. I have the cleaning and sealing product choices made. I know what I want to make and product costs. Curious about square foot pricing. This is about 3850 Sq ft.

Walter, I have cleaned a few dryvit houses and charged roughly 15 cents / sq ft (cleaning only, obviously). My understanding is that I am underpricing, but that is what my market will bear. Also depends on how dirty - will you need to remove algae and mildew? Are there rust stains to be removed? Can you reach the areas on the sides easily, etc.
Interested in what you are using to clean, and especially what you are using to seal.

The sealer is made by dryvit it is called "seal clear". To clean I will be using bleach, tsp and water, Sureclean 600 and Sureclean ferrous stain remover as per Dryvit systems Inc. I dont use too many home brews due to liability. I use what they recommend even if my profits suffer a little. I dont want any fingers pointing my way if they do I can turn and point. As far as pricing im charging .40/.60.

If I did it right, the above link should take you to my website with some before and after dryvit pics.

I always clean Dryvit without any pressure (don't actually need the machine for these) and can clean up to 3 stories without a ladder. I charge about 20% over a standard building. Watch out for Dryvit that has been painted. It will still clean well, but when you get all that crud off, you might find areas with uneven color.

If that building were in SE VA, I would probably charge $5-600 - I can't tell what's in back.

By the way, I do commercial dryvit all the time and LOVE it! It always looks so good when clean - I'd have it on my own home if it weren't for the termite and moisture issues! Oh, and if your dryvit is like our dryvit - its going to need cleaning on an annual basis, so you might want to mention a schedule to your customer.

I also love cleaning dryvit. I've cleaned a few dryvit houses over the years and they always cleaned up real easy.

I'm doing a Dryvit bldg. next week(If they don't delay me again) and I can't wait to complete this job. The bldg. should look great when completed. I will take before and after pictures and when I figure out my digital camara I will post them here.

I cleaned a dryvit building this summer. It was a light tan color but you couldn't tell that for all the mildew. I used 1 gallon chlorox bleach , 1 quart jomax and the rest water in a 5 gallon pail. Downsteamed this mixture on a dry surface, working from the bottom to the top. The mildew turned black and began to disappear. I rinsed at about 1,000 psi with a 40 degree nozzle and it came out great. The heavily mildewed areas took 2 applications. I have this building to do every spring now so must have done something right.

Almost forgot to submit price, it was two stories so I charged 2.00 per running foot of the building. Used extension wand to clean top story and got it done in one day.

I have to agree with Mike I use Bleach, Jomax and maybe a little TSP and thats all downstream or spray with Shurflo comes right off. Price 1`story about 1.45-- 2 story about 1.85 per linear it really depends on your area.
Best of Luck!
